Flights & Travel
Are flights included in the package?
Yes. Your package includes economy class return international flights departing from Johannesburg (OR Tambo International Airport).
Flights are arranged through our airline partners and confirmed once your booking is finalised.
Which airline will we be flying with?
Flights are scheduled with KLM or Air France, depending on availability and final routing.
What is the flight route?
The standard route for guests departing from Johannesburg is:
Johannesburg → Paris or Amsterdam → Portugal (Lisbon or Faro)
Return flights will follow the same routing.
Which airport in Portugal will we arrive at?
Depending on airline routing and festival logistics, guests may arrive via:

Will airport transfers be included?
Yes. The experience includes airport transfers between the airport, hotel, and festival venue.
Can I upgrade my flight class?
Flight upgrades (such as Premium Economy or Business Class) may be requested subject to airline availability and additional cost.
Accommodation
Where will we be staying?
Guests will stay in a 5-star all-inclusive resort in Portugal.
Accommodation includes daily meals and premium hospitality services to ensure a comfortable stay throughout the festival period.
Will rooms be shared?
Rooms are allocated on a shared basis for two guests.
The cost is on a double occupancy* basis. This means that we encourage you get your ticket for you and your plus one.
Single occupancy upgrades may be available subject to availability and additional cost. However, we also encourage solo travellers to join us––plenty of friends to make and meet!
Is food included?
Yes. The resort is all-inclusive, meaning breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included during your stay.
Festival Experience
What type of Afro Nation access is included?
Your experience includes VVIP festival access through the Hennessy Sky Terrace.

Are transfers to the festival included?
Yes. Guests will receive daily transfers between the hotel and the festival venue. However, should you miss your transfer the transportation cost will be at your own cost. The hotel will be approx. 15 minutes from festival grounds.

Will there be hosts during the trip?
Yes. The experience will be hosted by The Boujee Traveller team, who will assist with coordination, logistics, and hospitality throughout the trip.
Payments
What payment options are available?
Guests may choose between:

Installment payment plans
How do the installment payments work?
If you select an installment payment plan, a deposit is required to secure your booking.
The remaining balance will then be debited on the 30th of each month, with all payments completed by 30 May to ensure that flights, accommodation, and festival arrangements are secured.
How will installment payments be arranged?
Once your booking has been confirmed, our team will contact you via email with detailed instructions on how your payment plan will be structured and processed.
When will my booking be confirmed?
R5,000 deposit secures your spot, but full payment gives you confirmation!
Travel Documentation
Do I need a visa to travel to Portugal?
South African passport holders require a Schengen visa to travel to Portugal.
Will The Boujee Traveller assist with the visa process?
Yes. We will provide guidance and documentation support to assist you with preparing your visa application.
Final visa approval remains the responsibility of the relevant embassy.
